Education & Edtech Landscape Report 2026

Egypt has the demand, the demographics, and the reform momentum to lead education in the digital era. What it lacks is the institutional architecture to turn them into outcomes. Entlaq’s 2026 Education and EdTech Landscape Report, produced with EdVentures, diagnoses that gap using secondary research, a survey of 137 students and parents, a 400-respondent ecosystem survey, 12 key informant interviews, and 4 roundtable policy dialogues. It sets Egypt against four comparator systems and closes with seven integrated policy recommendations and a three-phase roadmap to 2030. It is a ground-level read on why a sector willing to pay for quality still scores 2.42 out of 5 on labour market responsiveness, and on what it takes to change that.
