CleanTech & Energy in Egypt 2025 Report

Global clean energy investment is set to more than triple by 2030, and this report, produced with Egypt's Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, asks what it would take for Egypt to lead that shift rather than simply watch it happen. Covering solar, wind, green hydrogen, storage, and the circular economy, it identifies five key challenges: fragmented regulation, scarce and unequal climate finance, limited infrastructure, low public adoption, and natural advantages still going underused. Anchored by flagship projects like the Benban Solar Park, it closes with a five-point call to action for turning that potential into progress.
