We Innovate Hackathon 2025

The WE INNOVATE Hackathon 2025 concluded at Cairo ICT, closing a national programme dedicated to strengthening Egypt’s cybersecurity ecosystem. The hackathon was delivered by Telecom Egypt (WE) and the Egyptian Computer Emergency Readiness Team (EG-CERT), sponsored by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), and managed by Entlaq.

The programme drew more than 500 applicants and narrowed the field to 11 finalist teams, who presented cybersecurity solutions developed over the course of the hackathon.

WE Innovate is an innovation and entrepreneurship hub for cybersecurity, and the 2025 edition formed part of Entlaq’s wider portfolio of national innovation programmes delivered with government and corporate partners.
