Entlaq launched the third edition of the Egyptian Entrepreneurship Sector Diagnostic Report (SDR 2025) at a summit held in El Gouna on 25–26 September 2025, hosted at Abu Tig Marina.

The summit was convened under the patronage of the Ministerial Committee for Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The report offers a multidimensional analysis of startups across sectors and regions, linking economic indicators to the legal, institutional and policy frameworks that shape them. It records USD 2.2 billion of investment into the startup sector since 2020 — seven times the volume of the 2015–2019 period. Sessions addressed growth policy, financial inclusion, green financing and cross-border capital flows.
