EHA & Entlaq: Supporting Healthcare Entrepreneurship

The Egypt Healthcare Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with Entlaq at the Authority’s headquarters in Cairo, witnessed by Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the EHA and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project.

The memorandum commits both parties to integrating health technologies and digital solutions, supporting and incubating healthtech startups, strengthening ties with academia, civil society and the private sector, facilitating international knowledge exchange, and reinforcing Egypt’s position in medical tourism under the Authority’s “We Care for You in Egypt” brand.

The first output of the collaboration is a specialised report mapping Egypt’s healthtech landscape and its gaps, intended as a reference for policymakers, investors and entrepreneurs.
