Egyptian Fin-tech Landscape 2024
Entlaq launched its report on Egypt’s financial technology sector in partnership with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt, at an event hosted at the Dutch Embassy in Cairo.
The report finds a 5.5-fold increase in the number of fintech companies in Egypt over five years, driven by lending, digital payments and B2B marketplaces, and sets out market trends, regulatory developments and investment opportunities.
The launch was followed by a roundtable, “Scaling Fintech in Egypt: From Startups to Global Impact”, with participants from e& Egypt, Money Fellows, valU, Entlaq and the Financial Regulatory Authority’s regulatory sandbox.
